It has been a while since I have updated anyone or posted on here, I have been way too busy lately handling personal and work related business, getting a couple customers cars completed, and over seeing the new BC Racing Time Attack 350Z transformation and prep for its debut this year in the Redline Time Attack Series. We did miss round one of this year, but are now on schedule to try and make the rest of the points races for the series as well as the Super Lap Battle appearances.
This new addition to the BC Racing stable is the former Double Down/ Relentless Autosports 350Z that was built by RA and campaigned by Mike B., and myself a few years ago, some of you may be familiar with the car.
The Z will now join the beautiful white Time Attack wide bodied G35 at BC Racing Suspension that I also pilot for them in the Time Attacks.
Through much deliberation the details were ironed out amongst Pete @ BC Racing Suspension, Mike B, Jim Wolf, and myself for BC Racing to become the new owner of the car and campaign it from now on.

Although things could always have been better, looking back at the event the BC Racing Suspension, Relentless Autosports, Jim Wolf Technology, Hankook Tire 350Z did pretty well considering this car has not been driven or had any track time in quite a while and all the little gremlins we were fighting from that.

We were trying out the new version ER+ series remote reservoir custom valved BC Racing coilovers, a couple different Hankook tire compounds that were new to us and the car, and the new ECU & split second box tune from JWT. The car is still using the same RA built VQ35DE Rev-Up engine, the JWT 850 BB TT kit with a bigger intercooler. The car is mostly tuned through the factory ECU with a little help (for now) with the Split Second box. The car is still making the power that it has for the last couple years with the same single wlabro 255 fuel pump with a 4 to 1 rising rate JWT FMU feeding the 750cc injectors, still returnless.

We ended up using the practice day Saturday to just shake the cob webs off the car and see what we were working with.
When the Time Attack sessions rolled around on Sunday we ended up doing fairly well in the Mod class securing a second place (out of 11 cars) right behind the well build and budgeted GoTo/Tapped Racing RX7 FD race car that was piloted by Koni Challenge driver Brian Lock.

We also were able to get a third place over all (started sixth) in the wheel to wheel race called the Super Session which was pretty cool to watch.

Here is some pics I found and the results.......

Next stop for the team and the car will be at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet Ill. JUNE 20 & 21, 2009
