New Front End Setup...

Hi Guys, as most of you are aware, my car is currently at my mates garage whilst he makes a custom harness, installs an Emerald K6 Standalone ECU and Maps the car. Whilst its at his garage, Ive gone about re-positioning my heat exchangers to make them more effective, as previously running temps were higher than I would have liked them to be... as a result of this, ive completely changed the front end and have given the front splitter a lot more importance than it had previously...

Here are some pics...

This is the previous configuration...

Intercooler was below front cross member, Radiator was pushed far back in to the engine bay and oil cooler sat in between two.

This is my new configuration...

Intercooler is lower down and further forward, Radiator is now 6 inches further forward than it was before, and ive replaced my 15 row oil cooler with 2 7 row coolers in series...

What do you guys think?

This is how it looks with the front bumper on:

Ive also made some carbon plates to funnel the air directly onto the heat exchangers...

Comments and criticisms?

God how do you even make this stuff lol.

Thanks for the picture where I can see your splitter legs. Gave me an idea of what I want to do.

Wouldn't running that in front of your bumper disrupt your front Aero?

Yeah I here ya. It definitely looks mean! And I'm sure the huge amount of fresh air will make up for the added drag!
