Time Attack Forums Now Has A New Look!

Hey guys did a lot of updating today since it was slow at work. The site has been optomized and updated to the latest version of Vbulletin to work smoothly and quickly.

I also did a MAJOR layout change as the sites look is completely new and I call it Time Attack Forums Version 2.0

Its full screen verse the fixed width of the old site, this is to better help with viewing images and support all the new links on the nav bar.

Also I will be having some new features coming up that I had to push on the back burner till I did the updates, as they where not compatible with the old version of vbulletin.

Feel free to let me know what you guys think and if you see any problems.

Awesome update.

Love the flex layout.

Its also more easy to see which forums have new posts/threads upon return visits, the icons make it easier to tell. The "New Posts" feature is awesome too!

My only suggestion is to update the race cars in the header graphic... may i suggest:

With the non-fixed layout its tuff to add differnt photos to the top as I would have to create some type of photoshop that blends them to a all black back ground on one side. I was messing with it earlier and wasnt happy with teh results so I jsut stuck with the logo and the photo of a track apexi.

Kris, being the semi "old and crotchety" one, the first words out of my mouth were "Seriously, What they fuck did they do!" After responding to a pm, and seeing you all left the "new posts" link at that top... I'm actually impressed well done!

Yea the "New Posts" button is still there along with some other new ones to help you find quick access to other items.

It was time for a new theme for the site as the old one was designed to work with vbulletin 2.9.0 and we are now on version 3.8.0 so thats why a lot of the login boxes and other things where having issues. This new theme is designed totally for VB 3.8.X and newer so it should run a LOT smoother.
