Depressing as all hell. In times like these, you need to be as lean as possible, so hopefully this just means that in the future Honda will be poised to deliver. Hopefully they build something even more groundbreaking than just another hybrid...and I have a feeling that they will.

Realistically, this is a pretty smart move...I just hope they'll still have some true fans at the end of the day, or whether they'll just be selling even blander Civics, sub-Civics (like the Fit), Accords and the occasional Odyssey...yuck.

At the same time, that's probably what really pays the bills around there.

that sucks. just a sign of the times i guess. it doesn't seem like honda keeps its true sports cars around very long though.

I think when the time is right Honda will bring it back. As Honda has the know-how of making sporty cars w/ compact and fuel efficient engines.

Well, look at the bright side.... they will be making more hybrids. I will be looking for my new track S2K later this year.

S2k prices are in the gutter right now. I think it will be tough for them to rebound to be higher than they currently are, but who knows.
