Interior Painting questions, need input ASAP.

So, my car is almost completely gutted. I would like to paint the interior all one color to clean it up a bit and make it look less busy.
I'm sure most of you spray a bare shell all at once, but I wont be repainting the exterior. So, I need some input.
I'm trying to make this cost efficient, and it doesn't have to be beautiful, just not Lazy looking..

so Im going to spray it myself with some cheap harbor freight guns and call it a day. My question is what kind of paint to use.
I can get the professional quality rustoleum primer and paint for under 20 bux.
I have also done a bit of research and found a paint called POR15 which is some heavy duty stuff and can take some abuse.

My experience with rustoleum have all been good ones, but i have only done small objects. Im concerned I'll be doing a touch up session at the end of each season, as I plan to be hauling my gear around. and Im generally tough on everything I own.

I have no experience with POR 15 but the whole system will cost around 60-70 bux and is prone to fading, they mention it alot and I really dont mind unluss it turns my interior multicolor.

so, what have you guys used and to what degree of success? how rough on the finishes are you?
My friend will have some space for me mid march so i need to make a decision quickly and get the project moving.

Thanks!
-Mark

From my experience, I would use POR15. From you avatar, your car seems to be white, hinting you would probably do the interior the same color. What I have used, and will be using on my car is POR 15 "Whitecote".

A few things before you do this. It MUST be warm outside. I really wouldn't apply the paint unless the air temp is 75+. Secondly, be sure you use a FOAM brush. The reason is the hair style brush leaves stroke marks.

IMO, this is better then a spray can. Tuff as nails and easy to apply.

example (interior done with POR with foam brush)

Zero rust, also workes like POR15 but you can spray it and it comes in more colors.
