Whatever happened with Subaru Tsukuba Challenge?

I went to their website, but i only saw pics from Laguna Seca. Anyone know if this trip to Japan ever happened? Or if it is going to happen? This was a pretty monumental thing as far as international competition for the US.

PDX Tuning won the invite at Laguna with Navid behind the wheel, but I heard that they didn't go because the car was sold prior to the event. It is a shame.

So i stood there listening to a speach about these guys going to Japan for absolutely nothing.

I heard (rumor only) that after all was said and done, PDX was given a free entry but they had to get their own car to the race!

Wouldn't suprise me, it seems subaru spends all their money in the wrong places.
