SoCal: temp engineer student for volunteer

I am a 4th year mechanical engineer at UCLA. I have a specialization in thermo and fluid dynamics. I am looking to help out a race team; get some real hands on experience. My experience is not much more than doing suspension work on my integra, but I do have PLENTY of thermodynamics classes under my belt.
I live near the campus. I do not have a job right now. Weekend work would be optimal for me, but I am open for mostly anything.

yup, poor school...

if it were about a year down the road and you were on the east coast, I'd be more than happy to have you on board. I remember being in your exact shoes but I had FSAE, craftsman truck series and dirt late models to play with.

Sounds great, we can always use help.... too bad you weren't just a couple hours closer to San Diego.

Nope, sory we are either at a track or resting on the weekends.
