S2000?

Can anyone tell me what the difference between AP1 and AP2 is? I'm not sure.

Headlights, taillights, front bumper, rear bumper, 8K redline on the AP2 vs 9K redline on the AP1. 06+ AP2 are drive by wire, and different ECU.

Also the North American S2000's came with a 2.2L engine starting in 2004. Tranny gearing is a little different as well. Exhaust tips also changed.

AP2 has revised rear suspension geometry. Cure to the snap oversteer issue.
Minor changes to the steering ratios every year.

i believe it's only a problem for the 06' and up models, but not 100% sure.

Both are great... Depends on your preference.. Both have advantages over each other, or disadvantages... I have owned an AP1 for 8 yrs running, and I have driven the AP2 myself, and there are some stuff I like about the AP2 that is not on the AP1.. Technically speaking the bugs and gremlins are worked out and evolved on the AP2 as the better car.. I still love mine to death, and Honda hasn't made any drastic changes to effect a significant difference yet.. Assuming they continue to develop another S2000 AP3?? We will just have to wait and see
