March 6th-7th RTA event in Florida, Canceled
Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let all of you know that RTA will not be involved with the event taking place at the Euro Rally School the weekend of March 6th-7th.

I believe Ivor still intends to hold a time attack, but it will not be sanctioned by RTA. Due to unforeseen financial issues, they were not able to solidify the sanctioning agreement with payment to RTA.

We will touch base with Ivor in 6 months to discuss the feasibility of holding an RTA sanctioned event at his facility in 2010.

Well this is unfortunate.


Are you guys planning on trying to secure another venue in the SE around this time frame?

That would be a Negative....

This was a late addition to our schedule anyways, with Ivor contacting us well after we had set our 2009 Schedule.

That's a shame.

A real SE event would be nice. You guys should try and secure Sebring for next year.
