DD/time attack Build: Mazda Rx7 FC

Bought my fc back in January 2010, but didn't get it on the road until february 2012.
It had a 13B turbo engine with aprox 220rwhp(measured with a gtech) when i bought it, just got one track weekend in before the turbo blew(was probably already on it's last psi's when i bought the car), so i took out the engine and planned to put on a bigger turbo and make lots and lots of hp. Bought the Stock NA angine and threw that in the car as a temporary engine, that way i could get the car street legal and daily it, while i built the other engine.
After some soulsearchin i decided to go NA instead, less things to go wrong, and IMO nothing beats NA power, tho it might not make as much as a turbo.

Since i decided to go NA, i knew getting loads of hp would be too expensive and just not drivable on the street, so i have set my goals on around 200-250rwhp, wich should be doable without selling my kidneys.

That's more or less the history of the car in my ownership, so time for some pictures.

When i bought it:

Last summer at a trackweekend:

My "new" S4 NA engine

Stripping off some parts

Went from distributor to CAS

The engine is in the car and has been running strong ever since Febuary.

Tearing down the turbo engine, to use it as a base for the NA build.

Made some ducting for the radiator last weekend, should help keep temps down. It was kind of a rushed job, since i need to get the car ready for an upcoming track weekend.

Plans for the Semi pp build.

Semi pp (Small periphial port and medium size streetport). (link to help non rotary people understand what i'm talking about: Porting)
4*42mm tb's mated to a custom intake manifold, longer runners for the side port tb's and mechanicly staged so that the periphial port tb's does not open until higher throttle openings.
High comp rotors
2*1000cc ID injectors
Aeromotive 13301 FPR
Haltech sprint RE

A sketch of how i plan to build the intake:

Engine components.

Mock up off the Semi pp engine.

Hello mate,

Would advise you to change the stock oil cooler to a pair of stock FD3s ouil coolers. They fit perfectly below the lights.

Any point in doing so? With the turbo engine last year i ran oil temps around 80-90 celsius at trackday's.

Turned out the front iron need extensive lapping and possibly nitrating to be usable and the center iron was ported badly(port cut in to the oil seal tracks).
So i have just ordered center and front iron, + new side seals(one of the old once had clearence of 2-3mm, as a reference this should be closer to 0,15mm).

Also ordered extended streetport template and bridge/PP exhaust template, so when this all arrives i should have everything i need to build the shortblock.
