got word from Phil, Element Tuning is pushing hard to get the Unlimited STi ready for CMP. If they make it down, I will be driving the 08 WRX in Street.  should be some fun battles!
also, still confirming with another shop about if they are bringing their rx-8 race car for Mod RWD... unfortunately, since it's built to koni challenge rules, has NO power whatsoever.

bring out that rx-8, we can have fun if i bring the vette, it will be like shooting fish in a barrel  haha, actually its probably 1000lbs lighter than my vette.

So wait, on top of $450 registration there is also $20 per person gate fee?

pretty much... it's the stock 240bhp against your 420bhp?

ROFL!!! riiiiight, if you really think my beast makes 400+ you need your head checked. I'm actually serious, on three dyno passes it made 378, 379 and 383. It also weighs 3380. She is made for 8.7 lbs/hp, which is why i was VERY surprised i could keep up with some of these monster cars

that's why i said BHP...brake hp rated at the flywheel
i'm guessing the rx-8 weighs around 2900lbs. then, with a probable drivetrain loss of 18%, the rx-8 would make about 197whp. yea... 14.7 lbs/hp will be slow LOL.

No, the general public, coming to watch the event and car show, will pay $20 to get in.
Drivers will of course get in for free, and I'm sure Chris and I will provide additional free entry passes to each driver, for family, crew, team, etc. We realize the registration fee is much higher than we wanted it to be for this round....
