Just wanted to start a thread for Round 5 - Carolina Motorsports Park - August 8th-9th, 2009.
RSVP'd Yes: 14
  • 1LapSRT - Mike O. BRING EXTRA BRAKES; this track is tough on them! ! ! [Bring it on Mr Ball{er} and don't forget to bring your cowgirl hat and a much bigger can of Whoop Ass than you brought last time... You will need them both!] :-)
  • 240sxmotoring - motor is done...going back to DSG for tune in the AM then heading to SC
  • AMS - We will be there. Upping the HP as well :)

  • TurninConcepts - We will be there with new Dunlops, exhaust and a bit lighter.

Do little kids have to pay? My wife, kids (2&5) and mom are coming Sunday to see me.

Definitely took Doug's advice

I've grown to love my Cobalt XRs but they didn't have any in time for me to get them on at Nashville.

I'll probably be testing Project Mu 999s and the XRs. The 999s stunk at Nashville, but I think that was because I couldn't get ANY heat into them. CMP looks like it might be a track where I'll be building up more heat, so I'll be playing back and forth. Normally I don't get the chance to do this, so I'm kinda geeked.

Really wish that crazy built K24 supercharged engine showed up...HA.

Like that's really in the budget...

Funny that you say that - every time his day care gets a new teacher for his class or he moves to a new room that's about how it goes until the newbies figure out what I do for a living. I guess they learn the hard way that when he says he helped work on the race car over the weekend he actually means it.
