so which events are you planning on making, Jimmy? I'll be missing Tenn and CMP. I'll be out of the country. It would be nice to see another miata out there.

We will be at Nashville & NJ. I wanted to make Autobahn but I've opted to go to a west coast event within the year. Either the SLB or Redline TA event at BW.

If you are wanting & waiting to go the the Super Lap Battle at the end of the year at Buttonwillow that is one thing, but if you are wanting to wait and go the a Redline TA at Buttonwillow..... You will be waiting till next year as the Redline TA has already been to its annual stop at BW (It was the season opener back in March)

My bad, I should have said within 1 year since that is what I was thinking. If I do not make the SLB this year then I will be at Buttonwillow for sure if there is a Redline event there early next year. I've been following the SLB times since day one and like to see what times we can run on BW 13.

hey did you guys run vir full recently? i thought i saw something about it on one of the forums. if you did, what lap time did you guys run out there? i love that track.

No, we were in Street Class & ran the Patriot course at VIR.

We were going to build the Bottom end & hit over 200 whp but we have nothing else to prove with the IRTB BP Piston motor since we built one of the fastest CSP autox Miata's in the nation and proved what it can do in a Time Attack event and beat the 260whp SC Miata's time at Hallet in Sept.

Looks like we will put a 13B Rotary in the Miata and start with n/a with a target goal of 280 whp for the tight & HP circuits. We have the engine and we are hoping that we can work with DIY Autotune with the Megasquirt. We will have it ready for the SLB next year and RTA events in the future. I've always said the 13B swap in the best engine swap for the Miata and hopefully it works out.
