04 Mini Cooper S
Bilstein PSS9's
Skunk2 front springs
Ireland Engineering front camber plates
I.E. rear control arms
I.E. 19mm rear sway bar
I.E. rear end links
Alta Positive steering response system (adds caster, bushing replacement)
Alta front sway bar links
M7 Strut bar (might be coming off, too much understeer with it)

this is my 5th suspension setup. started with Bilstein sp shocks and H&R springs, then Tein SS coilovers with edfc (terrible), then H&R coilovers, then Megan racing coilovers, now the setup i have now.

All in all, i think its a great street setup, some track duty. At some point would love JRZ. mmmm just need money

Speaking of window stickers, he recommended Robispec "race" and AST 5200 coilovers for the X. He said "RS pro's are good too. they to date haven't proven as fast as the other two but I have them on a car that is coming along nicely."

I have also been talking to GTWORX about using the JRZ RS Pro. Andrew even sent me out some JRZ product info.

The 5200's and RS Pros are pretty comparable, very similar on paper. I love my RS Pros, as well as the service and support I get from JRZ.

Great thread, just read the whole damn thing.

I'm shopping for coilovers this year for my 89 RX7 time attack car (track only, no street driving), anyone make any recommendations? I'm on a budget as well.. so looking at BC, Tein, etc..

Much agreed, great thread. Was wondering if anyone has used HKS hypermax 3 sports? Already equipped them on my wrx. Haven't change or messed with dampening. Thought I start out getting an alignment for the car first.
