Updated from this past weekend's results. New strict rules and a slippery track resulted in only two records being broken at this past weekend's Redline Time Attack season opener. COBB Tuning takes the new overall Modified/Limited class and Modified/Limited AWD record away from Ryan Gates, and Chris Rado shatters his old record for Overall FWD and Super Modified/Unlimited FWD. The rest of the records stand.

What about the reports of SSE running a 43.2?

That was in practice, and for the easy of things in this thread I only count the final times from the time attack sessions.

Yeah I actually just saw that and was coming back to edit. Sucks cause it looks like they ran multiple laps throughout the course of the weekend lower than the record but when the official sessions rolled around they couldn't quite pull it off.

I agree though this thread/official records should only be from official sessions not practice.

Good point but..... If we are counting both SLB and RTA events towards the track records, wouldn't it make sense to count all sessions (like SLB does) instead of just the "official" T/A sessions?

Track Record at each track as well!

SLB 2009 - SLB Street FF record (in RTA trim + carpet) of 2:00.256

Both series have different rules so this thread really probably should be separated into two different sets of records, but this isn't anything official, just something I did for reference. In previous years, a lot of top teams would run their own timing and keep their times secret during practice, some cars might not have transponders on yet in practice. For this last weekend, the timing system was on the fritz during parts of Saturday practice. Some Street Tire class cars practice on R-Compound tires. Point is, it is MUCH simpler and more accurate to go off of official results rather than throwing practice times in the mix.

Touche' .... I'm good!

BTW Street FF was 2:00.256 at SLB 2009 (and I had the required carpeting for SLB AND the required Cat. conv. for RTA).
