Yes very nice tire. I saw these at SEMA. There are alot of new tires coming up and out for 09.

FYI:

Yok took the high road and didn't let us run their new AD08 at SLB because it is not available to the public.

Nitto elected to run their NT05 (not available to the public either) at SLB. Tsk tsk...

The "old" AD07 beat the NT05 at SLB anyway! (.......and the AD08 is even faster!)

Sometimes karma does win/lose races......

I wonder if these tires (NT05/AD08) will be readily available to the general public for Redline's season opener in March?

From Nik (condensed to keep it pertinent to a street tire discussion)

Criteria for "readily available tires":

"Tires that can be purchased by the general public at all times. If
we get reports that some teams cannot get a certain tire, then NO team is
allowed to use that tire. Every team that wants to buy a certain tire, needs
to be able to get their hands on that tire. Basically, everyone needs to
have access, for ANYONE to have access. "
